TOM FORD HAUTE LIP STICK
You may have heard that Tom Ford just launched his very own lipstick collection? Called "Private Blend", all the make-up artists, journalists and beauty industry insiders couldn’t wait to get their hands on one. Ford said “There is no more dramatic accessory than a perfect lip. It is the focus of the face and it has the power to define a woman’s whole look,” he has personally created his perfect 12-shade color palette of Nudes, Bolds and Dramatics. “I took the most universally flattering colors that a woman can wear, and then I re-imagined them in a modern and authoritative way,”

Givenchy 2010 Paris Couture Collection "I LOVE IT"
Laces, pearls, feathers, hairs and silk, a majestic feeling is represented for the Givenchy 2010 Paris Couture collection designed by Riccardo Tisci. This Haute-couture was inspired by Frida Kahlo and her three obsessions: religion, sensuality, and, given the painter’s lifelong battle with spinal pain, the human anatomy…
“If the detail was breathtaking, it was also quite numbing in its intensity.” said Tim Blanks of style.com

MEN IN SKIRTS
Men in skirts???? Not really sure if im accepting to the idea as some others maybe. Men in skirts has been one of the biggest taboo's western culture. However, history shows that the concept of men wearing skirted garments was all too common. Pants were originally an invention to make it easier to ride a horse. The idea stuck, and the two-legged garment became standard apparel for working men, a way to counter the cold and abrasion. The political rise of the working class in the 1800’s transformed the workman’s attire into a symbol of raw power against the pompous and flagrantly dressed gentile statesman at the polar ends of the political and fashion spectrum. Since then pants have appropriated the symbol of masculinity in menswear.

MIRRORS BY UJIN LEE AND THOMAS EDWARDS
Mirrors was created in conjunction with two fashion labels based in Sydney Australia as a visual piece meditating on beauty. It was initially conceptualized as a projection for a fashion parade but evolved into a standalone video piece which was done for love!

PALE MIU MIU AD CAMPAIGN
Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2010 Campaign photographed by Mert and Marcus on GB65, Giovanni Bianco’s creative branding studio’s site. I loved the makeup, by Sandra Cooke, hair, Luigi Murenu, and the choice of the models for the the campaign. The models pale skin and the washed out colors used in the makeup palette along with the sleek, icy blonde hair makes the collection’s details pop.

Nails; Always a Timeless Statement
Painting nails has been around for centuries, dating back to the days of the Egyptians. Remarkably it remains a crucial must have accessory in everyday fashion. It is the easiest- least expensive way to personalize your look. Nail polish continues to be just as important an accessory as the perfect shoe or bag, present on every single runway from Marc Jacobs to Oscar de la Renta.
Brows Are Back!
Its "Brow Constructivism" in the words of Pat McGrath, If you dare, consider Balenciaga's green, pink, and blue-colored brows as a modern extension of your make up experience!
The pastel frosted eyebrows at Balenciaga’s fall 2010 runway show were a sheer delight. Pale shades of silvery pink, blue, and green worked their way above the eye-lid and on to the brow. It’s a bit extreme for everyday, but think of what fun icy blue eyebrows might make for a night out dancing. From the unkempt wild-woman monobrows at Topshop Unique in London to these colorful brows at Balenciaga, eyebrows are going extreme this fall.
Mondrian Swimwear Collection
This amazing collection by Sarah Schofield, although debuted in 2009 is such a work of art that I had to feature it. The sleek geometries, well crafted lines, and splashes of the primary sculpt the female torso in its truest form. The collection however is not for sale, but if we find out more we will be sure to fill you in.

Haute Papier
This collection by Sweden based Polish designer Bea Szenfeld, titled "Sur la Plage" is an amazing work of art strewn with geometries that rape the female body in delicate and unexpected ways. The collection was inspired by female divers in the 1930's as well as the sea life, mermaids, and fish. Each garment is hand made with paper!
